Our Vehicles
All of our vans are long wheelbase, high roof Hiace ZX models. We now have two of the latest model Toyota vans and the average age of our vehicles is the lowest of all of the Dunedin mobility van services. We will continue investing in our vehicles to ensure a reliable and comfortable service for our clients. We can accommodate up to two wheelchairs, and anywhere up to eight passengers depending on configuration. Get in touch for more information if you have a query.
Toyota Hiace ZX
Each of our vans have a hoist capable of lifting up to 350kg, which is suitable for most manual and electric wheelchairs. We use retractable tie downs with an attachable seatbelt if the wheelchair doesn’t have its own restraint. With well placed floor strips to connect the tie downs, we can accommodate a variety of wheelchair and seating combinations for maximum flexibility and passenger comfort. As with all passenger service vehicles in NZ, each of our vehicles must undergo a comprehensive COF safety certification every 6 months, at which time the tie downs and hoists are also checked for compliance.
